The Ruhunu Tourist Bureau has been instrumental in developing tourism in Southern Sri Lanka, and they are now inviting applications for the positions of Tourism Promotion Officer and Managing Director. These vacancies allow one to participate actively in regional tourism promotion while furthering their career within a meaningful context. Among other duties, the Tourism Promotion Officer will execute promotional campaigns, work with various stakeholders to increase traffic to the region, and enhance marketing initiatives for the Southern Province as a travel destination. The Managing Director will foster strategic partnerships within government and private sector institutions and supervise all off- site activities toward nurturing sustainable tourism development as per the organizational strategy. Interested candidates who possess necessary skills and experience along with a keen interest in advancing tourism are invited to submit their applications. Applications will be accepted until July 16th, 2025.
